Description

POM ONG /PMC SERIES ON GRID INVERTER

POM ONG / PMC Series ONGRID Inverters provide AC output which is compatible with the electrical grid. POM ONG series comes in different ranges starting from 2 KW to 6 KW(Single Phase) & PMC Series ranging from 5 to 350 KW(Three Phase). POM ONG / PMC Series Inverters allow Home owners and businesses to utilize solar power while remaining connected to the utility company, enabling the seamless integration of renewable energy into the existing power infrastructure.

POM ONG / PMC Series ONGRID Inverter handles DC-AC conversion, maximise the performance of the solar cell and the function of system. POM ONG / PMC Series ONGRID Inverter performs smart automatic operation and shutdown function, maximum power tracking control function, anti-islanding operation, automatic voltage adjustment, DC detection and DC grounding detection function.

AUTOMATIC OPERATION AND STOP FUNCTION

After sunrise, proportional to the solar radiation intensity the output of the solar cell increases. When the output power required by the POM ONG/ PMC Series Inverter is reached, the inverter starts to run automatically. After entering into operation, the inverter will monitor the output of the solar cell module all the time. As long as the output power of the solar cell module is greater than the output power required to work, the POM ONG / PMC Series inverter will be productive.

MAXIMUM POWER TRACKING CONTROL FUNCTION

The output of a solar cell module varies with the intensity of solar radiation and the temperature of the solar cell module itself. In addition, since the solar cell module has the characteristic that the voltage decreases with the increase of the current, there is an optimum operating point where the maximum power can be obtained.

ADVANCED SMART MPPT EFFECT

According to the intensity of solar radiation the optimal working point will change. Proportionally, the operating point of the solar cell module is always at the maximum power point and the system always obtains the maximum power output from the solar cell module. This is the maximum power tracking control. POM ONG Series ONGRID inverters have excellent capabilities of detecting the maximum power point tracking (MPPT). To track the power points, we use the maximum number of MPPT’s in each Inverters we produce.

POWER GRID DETECTION AND GRID CONNECTION FUNCTION

Before the POM ONG / PMC Series ONGRID inverter is connected to the grid for power generation, it needs to take power from the grid, detect the parameters such as voltage, frequency, phase sequence, etc. of the grid power transmission and then adjust the parameters of its own power generation to be synchronized with the grid electrical parameters.

ZERO (LOW) VOLTAGE RIDETHROUGH FUNCTION

When an accident or disturbance in the power system causes a voltage sag at the grid-connected point of the photovoltaic power station, within a certain voltage drop range and time interval, the photovoltaic power station can ensure continuous operation without being disconnected from the grid.

DETECTION AND CONTROL OF ISLANDING EFFECT

During normal power generation, the on-grid power generation system is connected to the large power grid and transmits active power to the grid. However, when the grid loses power, the grid-tie power generation system may continue to work and operate independently from the local load. This phenomenon is called the islanding effect. When the islanding effect of the inverter occurs, it will cause great safety hazards to personal safety, power grid operation, and the inverter itself. Therefore, the grid connection standard of the inverter stipulates that the grid on inverter must have the detection and control function of the islanding effect.
